STUDENT SURGICAL SKILLS COURSE

Introduction to surgical skills for medical students and allied health professionals

This hands-on one-day course is taught by engaging faculty and is designed for medical students preparing to embark on a surgical career.

This course will teach you how to safely perform basic surgical procedures in a safe environment, working with animal tissue, simulations and a variety of jigs.

Taught in a workshop format with feedback from faculty during practical sessions, you will develop essential surgical skills such as gowning and gloving, suturing techniques and knot tying.
